RED Group does not build up large “land banks” of potential wind farm development sites. We believe that this practice is counter-productive as it “sterilises” areas of potential economic development. The uncertainty arising from such unattended assets may cause ill-will amongst landowners, planners and other sections of the community.
Nevertheless RED Group is interested in identifying sites for potential wind farm developments where it can promptly commence the technical evaluation process.
